Originally this duplex on Adelaide street had been built with a cramped lofted second floor that functioned poorly. Our team removed the existing second floor and rebuilt it to a proper height. Architect Anthony Provensano’s design maximized natural light by incorporating large windows front and back and a central clerestory window to bring down even more light. The design on one side of the semi incorporated a rooftop deck which encompassed the entire roof. This added open space was a bonus in the crowded core of Toronto.
